Yet another bomb threat closed the Palace of Justice in Sofia on Tuesday morning. An anonymous person called at 9am to say that an explosive device had been planted in the building.

The Sofia City Court, which is one of the institutions housed in the Palace of Justice, was expected on Tuesday to decide whether to order indefinite detention for Yaroslav Dimitrov, a car thief who became famous after stealing a car while under house arrest, which caused an angry reaction from Prime Minister Boyko Borissov. Two European arrest warrants have been issued for Dimitrov.
