“We will ask for more than 14% decrease of the natural gas price for the last quarter of the year,” Petyo Ivanov, Executive Director of state-run Bulgargaz company, announced speaking for the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR).

Mr Ivanov explained that the price cut came over the decrease of the oil price in the current quarter.
“With regard to the fact that there is another decrease of the natural gas price, it is logical to witness certain corrections in the electricity price which the National Electricity Company buys on from the heating utilities,” he added.

Mr Ivanov commented further that he did not expect problems with the natural gas deliveries during the winter season.
