“Our major goal is not only to receive the refugees but also to conduct a policy on their integration,” Bulgarian Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova said speaking at the opening of the Outsourcing Destination Bulgaria 2015 forum in Bulgaria’s second-biggest city of Plovdiv.

In her words, the exact share of the refugees that Bulgaria should accept will be discussed and specified at the European Council in Brussels. Ms Bachvarova added that there was a focus on the organisation of refugees’ acceptance and added that the goal was to meet their needs.

“This is a long process but Bulgaria already has experience in this field,” she remarked.
