“The Republic of Moldova is a natural economic partner of Bulgaria. It has enough economic potential, which will contribute to expanding the cooperation between the two countries,” Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Economy Daniela Vezieva said speaking at the 7th sitting of the Intergovernmental Bulgarian-Moldovan Committee on Economic Cooperation in Chisinau. The event was co-chaired by Bulgarian Deputy Minister Vezieva and her Moldovan counterpart Vitalie Iurcu, the press office of the Bulgarian ministry announced on Friday.

The two delegations discussed issues related to the major fields of bilateral cooperation – trade, investments, energy, tourism, agriculture, information and communication technologies, and others, and outlined coordinated measures.

Deputy Minister Vezieva said that over the next years Bulgaria and Moldova would develop industry based on science and high technologies and productions with high added value and sustainability.

The priorities in this field will be the free economic zones providing good conditions for investment policy development in the field of production and services.
