Ecology to absorb 1.8 billion euro by 2020

Deputy Minister of Environment and Water Pavel Gudzherov has said that 1.8 billion euro will be invested during the new programming period. He spoke at the conference Bulgarian Municipalities 2020. „Thanks to operational programmes the quality of life has improved and every other year Bulgarian citizens feel more like Europeans. A lot of money is invested under the Environment Operational Program”, Gudzherov said and specified that during the new programming period the amount of 1.8 billion euro would be spent to upgrade the water and sanitation infrastructure, improve air quality and prevent floods.
