“Revenues of Bulgarian dairy producers are EUR 52 million smaller,” Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva said speaking for Darik Radio, commenting on the protest of the farmers against the low purchase prices in Brussels.

“All European producers suffer the effect of the Russian embargo. The loss since the start of the embargo until the end of August is estimated at EUR 51 million.

“According to the analyses we were presented, the Russian market has been replaced by markets of third countries, such as China, Brazil and Australia,” Ms Taneva explained.
