Bulgaria’s CEDB party presented mayor candidates (ROUNDUP)

Mandate-holder Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB) made an official presentation of its mayor candidates for the forthcoming local elections in Bulgaria on October 25.

The event took place at the Arena Armeec Hall in the capital city Sofia, the press office of the party announced.
Chairperson of the CEDB Elections Campaign Office Tsvetan Tsvetanov presented the mayor candidates of the party before more than 14,000 members and supporters of the CEDB.

Prime Minister of Bulgaria and CEDB Chairperson Boyko Borisov took part in the event, too and made a special address before the representatives of the CEDB structures from all over the country.

“We can fill this hall only with citizens from Sofia,” said Tsvetan Tsvetanov, speaking at the official presentation of the mayor candidates of CEDB.

“We have always said that the power of a party is found in its structures in every settlement in Bulgaria. The CEDB is strong and has its tradition because we gather here, because we know that the party life and the structures are the real power of a political party.

The 10th consecutive victory of the CEDB is not an end in itself but a prospect for the evaluation of the real job done by all mayors, municipal councillors, ministers and structures,” Mr Tsvetanov remarked.
