“Processes in the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) indicate its helplessness,” said Tsvetiomir Paunov, Deputy Chairperson of the Election Campaign Office of mandate-holder Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB) said, speaking Monday for Radio FOCUS.

According to Paunov, the Alternative for Bulgarian Revival (ABV) seems to have gained ground in the left-wing section of Bulgarian political life.

The politician also opined the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) had positioned itself in terms of organisation and motivation as the CEDB’s main rival in the upcoming local elections.
