Bulgarian expert: All gas projects Russia works on are mostly political, not economic
“Russian energy diplomacy is not what we see on the surface,” said energy expert Atanas Tasev, speaking in an interview with Focus News Agency.
He described it as highly professional, including many moves and scenarios, and what people saw on the surface was not what it was in its core.
“Every step taken by Russia should not be examined in the context of what is seen on the surface. Things are very dynamic and only in few months Russia can make several steps,” the expert remarked.
Mr Tasev commented further that all gas projects Russia was working on, including the South Stream, Nord Stream and Turkish Stream pipelines, were mostly political than economic.
