Bulgaria’s ABV party reports upsurge, brings new ideas: leader

“Bulgaria’s ABV party reports an upsurge, it brings new ideas and becomes more and more attractive. People come to us and our goal is not to attract them but to unite the left wing,” said ABV leader Georgi Parvanov, speaking at a press conference in the town of Shumen, the press office of the party announced.

Mr Parvanov met with members and supporters of the party in the town over the forthcoming local elections.

He informed that the ABV would nominate around 280 mayor candidates in the country, 180 of whom were representatives of ABV, while the rest would receive party’s support.

Mr Parvanov was explicit that the ABV would hold a positive elections campaign but did not exclude the risk of being attacked by others.
