Bulgaria’s ABV wants to transfer its potential into local power: leader

“We want the potential of the ABV party in the person of its mayor and municipal councillors candidates to be transferred into the local power,” said ABV leader Georgi Parvanov, speaking with journalists and citizens in the town of Dobrich.

He motivated his statement with the deficit of governing skills, opportunities and ideas in the local powers.

Mr Parvanov also remarked that the ABV managed to do much of work on central government level over the past year.
“I will be happy if we can be useful in the municipalities, too,” he added.
