Over 90% of construction activities on Lot 2 of Bulgaria’s Struma motorway completed: Minister

Over 90% of construction activities on Lot 2 of Struma motorway between the towns of Dupnitsa and Blagoevgrad have been completed. The section was inspected by Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova and Chairperson of the management board of the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) Eng. Lazar Lazarov, the press centre of the ministry announced.

Both officials met with representatives of the consortium in charge of the project.

They were assured the schedule of sped-up work was strictly stuck to and work would be finalised as agreed by the end of October.

Lot 2 of Struma motorway from Dupnitsa to Blagoevgrad has a length of 37.48 km and is worth nearly BGN 362 million.
