“Zoo police is already a fact,” said Bulgarian MEP Emil Radev (EPP) speaking in an interview with bTV.

“Some of the police officers, who will be in charge of the specialised units, are already selected,” Mr Radev explained.

Commenting on the Future of Zoo Police in Bulgaria discussion, which will take place on Friday, the Bulgarian MEP said that the event would be attended by investigating police officers and operational officers with Sofia Municipality.

“They will provide information about unit’s word and duties and what problems it will be in charge of,” the politician added.
