Bulgaria capital’s biggest problem is security: socialist leader

“Security is definitely the biggest problem of the Bulgarian capital city Sofia,” said Mihail Mikov, chairperson of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), speaking in an interview with Nova TV.

“The municipality and the state should join efforts in this field because the resources of the state should be provided by the municipality in the name of citizens’ security. The same is valid for the healthcare, the kindergartens, and etc.

When the city is growing, there is a need to foresee the need and provide lodging. We cannot take care only of the roads,” the politician commented further.

Commenting on the rightist government of Sofia, Mr Mikov said that for 25 years different state-run companies were privatised, the parks and gardens were sold out.
