“We are working on improving the quality of the security service,” said Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Interior Filip Gunev, speaking for the Bulgarian National Television (BNT).
 

“This was one of the issues raised by the trade unions. The service, of course, has financial dimensions. Is it well-paid, is if well-financed? It has other dimensions, too, which we are focused on, including within the anti-corruption plan of the ministry,” the deputy minister commented further. 
 

“The plan aims at resisting the major corruption practices, which are many,” Mr Gunev remarked.
