Bulgaria to host international science and innovation forum

This country will host an international forum for science and innovations during the Bulgarian presidency of the Council of the EU – that was settled today between Vice Premier Meglena Kuneva and EU Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science Carlos Moedas. They both also discussed the opportunities, provided by the EU funds over the current programming period for the development of science within member-states. The two politicians tackled Bulgaria’s Schengen accession as well, as a part of the overall policy for inclusion and strengthening of the member-states’ integration. Mr. Moedas reconfirmed the EC stance in support of the Bulgarian demands.
