80% of Bulgarian and Romanian citizens living in Germany are employed
A new survey at the German labor market refuted the myth that the Bulgarian citizens have difficulties finding a job in that country. The latest data show that 64% of the Bulgarian and the Romanian nationals are employed in Germany and that figure has been constantly growing, the survey of the German Institute for Labor Market and Professional Educationshow, quoted by Stern magazine. If the number of the self-employed and the seasonal workers is taken into account, it turns out that nearly 80% of the Bulgarians in Germany receive incomes under labor contracts. Only 9.6% of the Bulgarian and Romanian citizens are jobless. According to the institute, 637,000 Bulgarians and Romanians lived in Germany in August, which is 12,000 more, as compared to the previous year.
