Bulgaria PM expresses condolences to Turkish counterpart

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov sent a letter of condolences to his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu over the deadly blast that rocked the capital city Ankara on Saturday and claimed more than ninety casualties and more than two hundred injured people, the press office of the Bulgarian Government announced.

“Please, let me express our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the bomb attack at a peaceful demonstration in Ankara.

Bulgaria severely condemns this cruel act that took the lives of tens of innocent Turkish citizens. This tragic event is yet another occasion to join our efforts in the fight against terrorism, which does not have good or bad faces and knows no religion or nationality,” Prime Minister Boyko Borisov’s address says.

Mr Borisov also expressed his conviction that the perpetrators and organisers of this criminal act would be found and punished with the entire severity of the law.

“We stand next to the Turkish nation at this tragic moment,” the letter of condolences says further.
