About 50-55 road accidents occur in Sofia every day - drivers are not ready for the winter. That is what head of Traffic Department with Sofia District Police, Commissary Tencho Tenev, said in an interview for FOCUS News Agency .

“A lot of people have not yet changed summer tires of their vehicles with winter tires. They drive their vehicles with tyres which are not appropriate for the rain season. Number of road accidents which result in material damages increase in Sofia. From 20-25, their number is already about 50-55 a day. Generally, people are not prepared for the winter season,” Commissary Tanev said.
