Thirty six illegal immigrants detained in Sofia in 24 hours

Thirty six illegal immigrants were detained on the territory of Bulgaria’s capital Sofia in the last 24 hours, the press office of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior informs. Twenty nine foreign nationals were found in a mini van near the town of Bankya. The illegal immigrants said they were nationals of Afghanistan and Syria. The Police arrested the thirty four year-old driver of the van. Another seven illegal immigrants were detained downtown Sofia. All of them failed to present an ID. The authorities are yet to distinguish their identity and undertake further actions against the illegal migrants.
