“We will make a final decision on the prices for electricity produced by renewable energy sources on November 5,” said Ivan Ivanov, Chairperson of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, speaking at a public sitting on Wednesday.

The sitting was organised over the setting of the preferential prices of electricity produced by renewable energy sources with combined cycle and indirect use of biomass.

The preferential prices are set under Regulation 1 from March 18, 2013 on the regulation of the price of electricity by accounting the type of the RES, technologies, installation capacity, the place and method of facilities installations, the investment expenses, and others.
