Growth of bank deposits, loans going down

The Central Bank has published data, showing that bank deposits in Bulgaria are still on the rise, while loans are going down. An annual growth of 3.4 percent of deposits in the non-governmental sector was marked end- September, along with 3.9 percent for business deposits. A year earlier the volume of the latter was 14.6 percent down and households had 1.4 percent less deposits.
