PM Borissov: We're ready to close our borders to migrants

"If Germany, Austria and other countries close their borders, we will not leave our counties to become a buffer zone, we will be ready in the same way to close our borders, too", said Prime Minister Boyko Borissov after his meeting with the prime ministers of Romania and Serbia today in Sofia.

"Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania must act together, act in solidarity with Europe and also demand solidarity from European countries," Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said. He stressed that the three countries have agreed to have a common position on refugees as stability is their common priority.

Today we, Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia, have a common strategy, so our three voices will be heard better together than separately", said Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta after the meeting.
