Based on 86.37% processed election papers so far from polling stations’ election commissions,  72.07% said YES and 27,93% said NO at the national referendum that was held along with the local elections, the Central Election Commission said. The question that voters had to answer at the referendum was, “Do you support the option of remote electronic voting during elections and referendums?” The Foreign Ministry said that 26,939 Bulgarians in 45 countries joined the referendum in polling stations abroad.
