“Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB) stole the elections,” said Georgi Kadiev, mayor candidate for the capital city Sofia nominated by Serdika Coalition, speaking for Nova TV.

“They would have won the elections anyway but in the end they did it mostly with fake protocols. They don’t even buy people, they buy whole sectional electoral commissions. What we saw proved it,” Mr Kadiev remarked.

Mr Kadiev was also asked to comment on the information that he mulled establishing a new leftist political party.

“I announced that I started gathering followers. We are yet to see whether together with the followers we will establish a new movement or a party. What I want is to establish a new idea, a new cause,” the politician said further.
