Police trade unions threaten with national protests

The police trade unions will block roads and will launch protests if their remuneration upon retirement is reduced. Up to date it is equal to 20 monthly salaries. According to Galentin Grozev from Trade Union Alliance “Security”, the suggestion for changes in the Law, cancels a series of social benefits for the employees of the Ministry of the Interior. A “Security” Alliance source informs that the policemen are to start protest actions this week. On Wednesday disaffected servicemen intend to block Hemus Highway. Protest actions are expected to take place throughout the country.
