Bulgaria’s airspace remains sovereign

Bulgaria’s cabinet came up with the decision that the country’s airspace can be policed jointly by the Bulgarian Air Forces and NATO allies. However, according to the amended act, the policing of the Bulgarian airspace could not be carried out by air forces of foreign countries only. Thus, the new act guarantees that the country’s air sovereignty would not be granted to other countries.
