Bulgaria supports UNESCO in its efforts against radicalization of young people

Bulgaria supports UNESCO in the preservation of the cultural heritage and is a trustworthy partner in its efforts to strengthen the values of freedom, intercultural dialogue, human rights and dignity, the Bulgarian delegation which attended the 38th General Conference of UNESCO in Paris announced. Sofia reaffirmed its conviction that education helps countries deal with the radicalization of young people by the social media, at school and in their communities and backs the US proposal for a global initiative that has to deal with the issue regarding the use of education against extremism, the Bulgarian delegation in Paris further pointed out.
