Yesterday the start is given to the regular autumn mission of the International Monetary Fund in Bulgaria. This is the first visit of the team of the Fund’s mission for Bulgaria of Michele Shannon, after the change of the leadership of the Central Bank of Bulgaria in July. During their last mission, the IMF experts gave special recommendations for reform in the pensioning system. The IMF is helping Bulgaria by providing expertise for the restructuring of the banking supervision. By tradition the autumn mission of the Fund coincides with the government’s work on the budget for the coming year.
