Ivailo Kalfin meets with Greek counterpart Katrougalos

Bulgaria’s Minister of Labor and Social Policy Ivailo Kalfin met with the Greek Minister of Labor, Social Insurance and Social Solidarity Georgios Katrougalos. Minister Kalfin said that the cooperation between Bulgaria’s National Social Security Institute and Greece’s Social Insurance Institute should continue and strengthen. In May 2015 Bulgaria's NSSI and Greece's IKA-ETAM signed cooperation agreement which envisages various forms of bilateral cooperation aimed at optimizing the services and improving the exchange of social security information between both countries. Minister Kalfin and his Greek counterpart agreed to sign an agreement on cooperation in several fields: the free movement of labor force between Bulgaria and Greece, the fight against illegal employment, social protection of children from both countries, etc.
