“At the forthcoming president elections the ABV party will go out for a victory,” said ABV leader Georgi Parvanov speaking at the sitting of the National Council of the Alternative for Bulgarian Revival (ABV).
 

“We have the potential to achieve a really convincing result. We are looking for cooperation not only with the left wing but also with the centrists because Bulgaria needs a well-respected president. ABV should be a carrier of the institution,” the politician added.
 

Mr Parvanov commented that the National Council of the party had also discussed the issue about the cooperation with the other leftist parties.
 

“I would like to stress on the fact that more than 40 of the mayors were in the formula of cooperation of parties from the left wing and most of these coalitions were successful.
 

ABV stretches a hand towards the left wing and we do it with the idea to have a long-term partnership. 
 

The political life cannot develop without a strong left wing and convincing leftist performance,” Mr Parvanov said.
