Increase in number of charter flights expected in summer of 2016

A 35-percent rise in the number of tourist charter flights to Bulgaria is expected in the summer of 2016 from countries that TUI Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Poland and Switzerland) operates in. This became known during a meeting of Bulgarian Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova with the management of TUI - one of the largest tour operators in the world. Preliminary talks with TUI experts for UK, the Netherlands, Belgium and the Scandinavian countries have been held too, as a rise in the number of flights from these countries to Bulgaria is also expected. According to Minister Angelkova, the government has been working actively for season 2016 and a key role in the marketing strategy of this country for next year takes partnership with major tour operators.
