“We believe that we will find a common way of boosting the opportunities for even more active level of cooperation,” said Chairperson of the Bulgarian National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva speaking at a working meeting with Kazakhstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Erlan Idrissov.

The meeting was held in the frames of a visit of a Bulgarian parliamentary delegation, headed by National Assembly Chairperson Tsetska Tsacheva, to Kazakhstan.

During the meeting the officials discussed issues of mutual interest and reconfirmed the invitation for Minister Idrissov to visit Bulgaria.

“We would like to enhance the growth of the trade relations between the two countries, this is really important both for our Bulgarian partners and us.

We have adopted a whole package of measures that guarantee the successful work of the foreign investors.

Kzakstan is ranked 41st in the world in terms of new investment forms introduction and we are proud of our achievements. That is why we wish to find the reserves that will give a push to the relations.

Bulgaria is a historical partner of Kazakhstan and that is why we are ready to work actively in the different fields of the economy and trade,” Minister Erlan Idrissov said.

The visit to Ms Tsacheva aims at proposing the start of a new process for the working out of a new basis agreement on bilateral friendship and cooperation and to set a date for the official visit of the Bulgarian Prime Minister to Kazakhstan.

The Bulgarian delegation also expressed gratitude for the cooperation provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, and by Minister Erlan Idrissov in particular, for the permission to launch tourist charter flights.

“We consider it important to ink an agreement on air communications between the two countries, as it will increase the investment opportunities, as well as the tourist flow in both directions,” Ms Tsacheva commented further at the meeting.
 

Bulgaria will also count on Kazakhstan’s support for the Bulgarian candidate for UN Secretary General.
