“I have not met with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov over issues related to former chairperson of Sofia City Court Vladimira Yaneva,” said Bulgarian Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov, speaking Thursday with journalists before the regular sitting of the Supreme Judicial Council.

“I talked to Vladimira Yaneva until the point pre-trial proceedings were initiated against her [over the so-called Worms affair],” Tsatsarov stated.

According to him, Yaneva is not the most guilty person in the legal sense.

“This scandal was not created by Vladimira Yaneva but served something. I am talking about the Worms scandal, which anyway could not be proved due to the impossibility of proving the interference with the computer information systems as well as whether this interference produced anything,” the Prosecutor General specified.

Sotir Tsatsarov thinks creating the scandal in public now has certain goals.

The names of Tsatsarov and Boyko Borisov are mentioned in a recent alleged recording of a conversation between Vladimira Yaneva and Judge Rumyana Chenalova.

Asked whether he had the feeling Chenalova had recorded the conversation, the Prosecutor General stated he did not have the feeling the conversation had been recorded by Vladimira Yaneva or the dog heard on the tape.
