Prosecution office to seek permanent custody on MPs Siderov and Chukolov

The prosecution office will demand permanent measure “detention” of parliament members from the Ataka party Volen Siderov and Dessislav Chukolov, announced the spokesperson of the Prosecutor General Rumyana Arnaudova. She said that the two MPs, who have now been deprived of their immunity, will be called and indicted. They were charged with hooliganism committed with exceptional cynicism and impudence. The accusation is for their intruding in the Film and Theater Academy in Sofia in the night of the first round of the Mayoral elections. For this offense the law provides for up to five years in prison. Siderov will be raised another accusation – duress, because of his actions against one of the students from the academy. The Ataka leader twisted the wrists of the girl to let he drop the cell phone, with which she photographed him. For this offence Siderov may by punished with six years of prison.
