Bulgaria introduces 100% border control

Bulgaria introduces 100% border control in connection with the series of coordinated terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday night.

As a result of the 100% border control authorities expect overloading of the passengers’ flow, the General Directorate of Border Police announced.

The processing of the documents of the people travelling through the border checkpoints to Bulgaria’s borders to Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia, as well as at Sofia Airport, will be slower with regard to the enhanced control.

Bulgarian citizens are recommended to reconsider their trips, in possible, with regard to the changed situation.
