“Europe, Russia, the United States and other interested countries in the Middle East should take military action to radically eradicating the Islamic State”. That is what Brigo Asparuhov, a former director of the National Intelligence Service said in an interview for FOCUS News Agency in connection with Paris terror attacks of last Friday.

“Unfortunately, this is another terrorist attack in Paris with terrible consequences. I express my regret and join what our statesmen already have done. Unfortunately, my predictions about the future are extremely pessimistic - apparently a hideous war begins. Tests to Europe and Bulgaria will be very heavy,” he said.

According to him, the only solution to this problem is the combined efforts of Europe, America and Russia, together with interested countries in the Middle East - Iraq, Syria and Turkey in radical solution of military operations aimed at the so-called Islamic State.

“There is no other solution and if European leaders, the US government do not understand that - the problem will have very serious consequences,” general Asparuhov said.

In his words, Russia has already given a sign and has taken practical action hitting the Islamic State.
