"It must be elected new strong and young leaderships with a modern thinking which to formulate a new, modern policy and way of speaking that is really credible. Concept of “shifting left” must find a modern translation in the contemporary language.” That is what Chairman of the General Council of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) in Sofia, Kaloyan Pragov, said in an interview for FOCUS News Agency .

“Income taxation was one of the things that people didn’t understand. The flat tax was a big mistake which brings its consequences. Therefore we want introduction of income taxation which is fair in the current situation. Left policy means to carry out differentiated VAT reference for various categories of products and goods,” Mr Pragov stated.
In his words, left policy is not only to ask for money for the poor, but to create conditions for them to find their feet.
