Company registration in Bulgaria speeds up

In Bulgaria the registration of a company will take two days. This has become possible after the enforcement of amendments to the Commercial Register Act passed in July that become operational now, after a transition period of four months. The Registry Agency has said that the system of the Commercial Register has been upgraded to make sure company registration now takes a day or two. Under the amendments, the Agency shall have to consider registration applications by the end of the workday following the day of submission. Ruling on applications shall be carried out immediately after examination. So far such applications were examined within three days upon submission.
