Sofia stands for eliminating causes for migration

In Brussels, at the sitting of the EU Foreign Ministerial, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov accentuated on the need of efficient control along the outer borders of the Union and on the need of policies eliminating the root origin of migration. In order to differentiate between the refugees in need of shelter and the economic migrants, who are actually the greater part of the migration flow, it is necessary to enhance cooperation with the countries of origin and of transit of the migrant groups. Another must is the efficient implementation of the readmission agreement, Minister Mitov further said. The ministerial sitting stood up for continuing the fight against the terrorist organization Islamic State, for the gradual reduction of the territories it controls and for its total elimination.
