“Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will not support the budget for next year and we will propose other solutions that would provide different future and different alternative for Bulgaria,” said Mihail Mikov, chairperson of the parliamentary group of BSP Left Bulgaria, speaking at the parliamentary debates on the draft bill on 2016 State Budget Act.

“It is clear that we will spend more and more money next year. As a result of this the state debt will reach 30% of the GDP,” the oppositional leader remarked.

In his words, apart from the EU funds there is no other fresh money in the Bulgarian economy.

“There are almost zero direct investments. Big part of the Bulgarian citizens considers the perspective of seeking better future for themselves and their children abroad,” the politician commented further.
