Minister Angelkova: All accommodation sites to be linked with Interior Ministry and Revenue Agency

From the end of next year all sites providing accommodation will be connected with the Ministry of the Interior and the National Revenue Agency, announced Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova. This is an element related to security, but also to the will for bringing to the light the revenues of such sites. The regulation is to cover all places offering accommodation. The necessary software is currently under preparation. The Ministry is working on the amendments to the law that would encompass these recommendations, Minister Angelkova explained. She further specified that the system would require full information, which hotels would have to register, like: names, where people come from, address, purpose of coming to this country; whether they are alone of bringing their family.
