Premier Borissov met with President of European Count of Auditors
The efficient management of EU Funds was in the focus of attention during the talks in the Council of Ministers in Sofia between Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and the President of the European Count of Auditors (ECA) Vitor Caldeira. ECA’s President hailed the efforts of the Bulgarian cabinet to improve the utilization of European means. Premier Borissov on his part, pointed to the considerable improvement in the absorption of EU Funds in this country since the beginning of this year. This significant growth was also registered by the European Commission, according to which Bulgaria stands second in the percentage of real pay offs along structural funds for the period January 1 – October 12, 2015.
