Bulgaria with potential to help coordinate Russian-American actions in Syria: Paul Beaver

Bulgaria has the potential to help in the coordination of Russian and American actions in Syria, according to defense consultant Paul Beaver who was interviewed by the Bulgarian National Radio. He pointed to two ways in which Bulgaria could support Middle East operations. One of them stems from its good relations with Russia almost unique where NATO member states are concerned, so this country is fit to act as mediator between the West and Russia. Secondly, Beaver pointed to NATO bases in Bulgaria that could be used in a possible operation against the so-called Islamic State.He also said the so-called Islamic State had no problems whatsoever with the Balkan countries and that its main targets were Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid and Rome.
