Terrorism – global threat, requiring global response, President says

Terrorism is a global threat. The response should be global as well – everyone should get united against it – Europe, America, Russia, China. That was what President Rosen Plevneliev said in his speech at a high-rank-giving ceremony for officers of the Bulgarian army. The head of state said that the entire arsenal of security measures should be implemented against terrorists and added that those people could be defeated and sent before court. Solidarity and unity within Europe should be the response to the attacks, Mr. Plevneliev went on to say, adding that safety should be guaranteed, but no disunion in terms of religion, ethnicity or any other sign of that kind should be allowed.
