Interior Minister Bachvarova: Russia and Turkey must find solution, no danger exists for us

All necessary measures have been taken to ensure the security of the Bulgarian borders and to address the refugee challenge. By June 2016, the fence along the border with Turkey will be ready, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova said in an interview for bTV. Bulgaria is a country in which the flow of refugees is the lowest at the moment. In one year, 330 persons whom have been considered to pose a risk were not admitted to the territory of Bulgaria.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that there was no direct danger to Bulgaria from the conflict between Russia and Turkey over the downed Russian fighter. "We view it as an accident and a problem in the relations between the two countries and it is exactly at this level that it can most quickly and easily find a solution," said Bachvarova.
