Fund to finance innovative business ideas
We are trying to pull together all public resources, to create a medium for attracting more investments, said Deputy Premier Ivaylo Kalfin during a conference on partnership in innovations between Bulgaria and Italy. The forum is organized by Confindustria Bulgaria, which unites Italian businessmen in this country. “As of next year, together with the European Commission, a Fund of the Funds will start to operate. Its aim will be to put aside sums from each Operational Programme to be used for the working out of financial instruments, which would encourage innovative and competitive ideas coming from the business sphere”, Minister Kalfin announced. He extended thanks to the Confindustria for the fact that in the last 15 years as many as 25 thousand new jobs have been opened in Bulgaria, all of them in the companies, members of the Association.
