“Price of carp will be BGN 6 to 6.5 per kilo for Saint Nicholas’ Day,” said Yordan Gospodinov, executive director and representative of the Association of Fish Products Producers BG Fish (AFPP BG Fish), speaking for FOCUS News Agency in relation to the expected increase in the consumption of fish and fish products over the forthcoming Saint Nicholas’ Day.

According to Gospodinov, people mostly seek to buy fish weighing about 3 kilos.

The expert explained further there was no official statistics in Bulgaria on the sales and consumption of fish around Saint Nicholas’ Day.
