David Cameron in Sofia: It is important that we destroy ISIS

is important to break down "Daesh" wherever it exists - in Iraq and Syria, said British PM David Cameron in Sofia during his joint press briefing with Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. In a statement, David Cameron, who is on an official visit to Bulgaria, said he and Borisov spoke on three important topics - EU reforms, the fight against terrorism and the refugee crisis. The British Prime Minister said that more information exchange is needed for countering terrorist threats. He praised Bulgaria for its fight against human trafficking and its border protection. Today we discussed how we can further strengthen our relationship, how we can work together to tackle the challenges we both face - migration and terrorism, said David Cameron.

In his turn, PM Boyko Borisov said he hoped the UK would continue its support for Bulgaria in the future regarding cohesion funds and infrastructure projects. In his words, Bulgaria is doing very well with the protection of the external borders of the EU.

Britain's PM David Cameron is to meet later with President Rosen Plevneliev.

Tomorrow Cameron is to visit the Bulgaria-Turkey border.
