Budget 2016 presupposes growth

Bulgaria’s budget is feasible, responsible and oriented towards Bulgaria’s economic growth, said EC Vice-President for Budget and HR, Kristalina Georgieva during the discussion entitled “Yes to Bulgarian economy. European Bulgaria – stability and growth”. We should enhance Bulgaria’s role in the Junker Plan, Kristalina Georgieva further said, adding that the more Bulgaria is visible, the greater the chance it has to attract money. “The Junker Plan is of concrete benefit for the business, as it is put through by Bulgarian companies”, Georgieva explained. Premier Boyko Borissov on his turn prognosticated that next year’s budget deficit can drop to 1-1.5% and added that this is of special importance for the stability and the credit ratings this country is given. Bulgaria is not only second in EU fund utilization, which means good administrative capacity of the municipalities, the government and the persons involved,  but it is also below the 2% error for the EU in the process of utilization, Premier Borissov further said.
